Bookmarking (public and private) with tags, archiving of pages with full text search of those snapshots. There's also a social dimension: users can share, copy others' bookmarks. It doesn't sound exciting, but wow…

New Post: Pinboard fail [bazbt3.10centuries.org]

@schmidt_fu Damn you, I just had to have a go. :) I'll post there.

Use that.

Worth fighting for, that.

It might be as simple as 'all the rules have changed', and they see it as being empowered by this shift away from remote politicians getting all the soundbites. Never underestimate vanity too; it must be amazing to be in the right place at the right time and have a chance at that 15 minutes of fame, accessible 'forever' online.

@schmidt_fu Did we get a logo? Is there a competition? Why are you so far ahead of me already‽:)

Thanks for those links, in case I haven't already, er… thanked you. Distracted. :)

Oh, I'm pretty certain you'll know better than I. :) Trying to figure out how to find out. (The email app on my phone is not sorting by date for some reason.)

I just looked at the initial GitHub commit date for my Python app: 2016-03-06. I know I messed about with shell scripts for a little while before that. Wow, it seems longer-ago!
