I've got as far as posting, listing the last mentions (json) and replying - but right now can't get the auth token read from an external file and used in the headers. It's thus hardcoded which means I can't let the code leave my computer in case I screw up

A shame. It'll be something that'll take me time to understand, along with Python data structures. Obviously. ;}
