Bedtime story time, we're at chapter XV of The Hobbit!

@kdfrawg Strangely (I think BTW) that after Tesco, ASDA - a Walmart-owned company is the second-biggest UK supermarket.

You're right on the money there; concentrating on the good stuff rather than a race to that bottom-line improves standards for everyone/everything.

I'm thinking of compiling a list of the things I've seen change over the years. But first, let's get the TV news on, it's a quiet day ripe for spots about fainting goats and spaghetti trees isn't it. ;)

@kdfrawg Oh no, we live in an age in which only binary choices are desirable. Step outside the norms at your peril. :)

@kdfrawg I am of course assuming you're a gentleman, not some foppish rake obsessed with male grooming products. ;)

I now have the urge* to buy canned potatoes over the Internet. Thanks @kdfrawg, thanks very much.

*For I am weak-willed. :)

@kdfrawg What's the betting a lot of customers simply won't care about individual prices (ooo look at the discounts!) and order for the novelty, the convenience, the cachet, the simple livinginthefutureness?!
