@gtwilson Carry on. The pizza will keep, right? Mmmm… reheated pizza (dribbles) :)
@gtwilson I recognise fries (of many and varied configurations) anywhere, but what's in the bag‽
@larand Good isn't it. :)
Dare I ask what the problem is that turning it off and then back on again wouldn't fix?
Incidentally, with Windows 10 I've noticed that pressing 'Restart' and assuming it's identical to Shut Down is simply wrong. I lose, amongst other things, drive mappings at work by restarting. <snark>It's great after software updates.<snark>
@larand Did he attempt diagnostics with utilities on a USB drive first?
[ ] Yes - almost-certain doom.
[ ] No - doom interrupted.
[ ] Maybe, he was secretive - certain doom.
@joeo10 Oh yeah, that cheap tablet of mine: it's not 64 bit which means it can't run Windows bash, the only negative I can think of. Anyway, it's not really relevant here. :)

@hazardwarning I wish I'd thought of their business model. It seems that they keep old hardware updated for just long enough to satisfy most. Not sure I like living in a throwaway age though.
Incidentally, I spent £120 on a Linx 1010b 10" Windows 10 tablet with accessory keyboard, and haven't really tested its limits yet. I've oddly-undemanding demands. :)
