(My Python thing) Hopefully the API response 200
will be converted into a nice response 'Ok.' or a failure message like 'Oops, are you logged in?'. I'm putting off parsing JSON - I've had to dmit that it's something I can't find on Stackoverflow. ;}
Write some text:
Testing Python Requests status codes. Nothing worthy of your attention.
@matigo Aha! Thanks for answering and thanks @paulgit for asking. That was going to be one of my queries for the weekend.
Hoping I can remember, lots to do before I get the chance to play.
@paulgit I'll cross my fingers. If you didn't replace; how much of a loss, and what would you use in its place?
@paulgit Aw balls. With what you have what can you do to either find it or wipe it? Or are you hopeful humans are honest? :/
@height8 Good points. The thing itself was last updated in August 2015; everything else was installed from the Google Play Store (I disabled .apk installs.)
I don't really know what could gave caused it, if not a false positive - I've been pretty static as far as new installs go; nothing new for a week or two (outside whatever interval the autoscan is set up at.)
I wonder if I can un-exclude it from scanning now I've… ;)
I have AVG Protection on my phone (it came along with the other bloatware.) This morning I awoke to find this, for an app I use every day:
Pisspoor. And to think people will rely on this 'security' thing to keep them safe from 'threats.' :(
