Ah, ok, ta. I'll go take a look later, I've not had much to depress me today. :)

Ah, I'll take a look at that one later, but was thinking more of Farage's comments on Tim Farron. Ta.

Heh! Ta. :)

My wife and her mum voted, like the vast majority in Manchester at the time, against a region mayor. I can't recall if the vote extended across Greater Manchester as a whole but would have voted against too.

I'm considering not voting for the second time ever, or spoiling (checks spelling) the paper. More bureaucracy when Council Taxes are going up and services cut at the same time this has turned into a rant again, sorry!

If either of you have any kind of link I'd be grateful. I'm still reeling from the news. Ta.

One thing I took away from it, apart from my stupidity, it's a pleasant, civilised experience, and one I'll never forget. Oh how the locals laughed. Almost worth not being able to speak properly for a few days. :)

Hookah is a shared tobacco delivery device, with individual tubes and mouthpieces for each patron. And a pleasant memory from 2001, of a cafe near the Aswan railway station, apple flavoured tobacco, and the back of my throat burnt away the day after. A non-smoker. :D
