One site to rule them all, and in the darkness bind them. Or something. ;)

Just to reiterate:

  • I'd vote for the social domain structure, Blurbs, being conventional; domain/user for everyone but the account holder.
  • The sites, Pages, should also follow convention - subdomains may not be widely understood but it fits in nicely with the way the web is structured.

I'd also vote for the logged in user's home/landing page to be Blurbs - as everything else would be a click away in the menus…

Why? What proportion of people will want to see statistics when they first login, or their own pages or impact on 10C infrastructure? It's all great to have it but incidental to any social site.

But choice is what's make all the difference. Make it an option which landing page a user sees?
