@streakmachine But you can't. ;)

@matigo @height8 @keita Hi chaps; 2 questions:
- If a noob (me!) wanted to create, say, a 10Cv4 post-only Linux shell script, is it feasible without a massive amount of effort? (Bear in mind my Everest so far has been ayadnshell [github.com].) Feel free to say 'no.'
- Mainly for Jason: Are there plans to create a 10Cv4 mentions RSS feed (so I can get alerts via IFTTT sending to Pushover.) Feel free to say 'no.'
FYI the only modern stuff I have even passing familiarity with is:
- Python - I reached 17% of the way through the course before work firewalled the CodeAcademy site. :}
- Jekyll/Liquid/HTML.
@keita I have to say, the more I play with GitLab the more I like. My stuff's all terribly superficial though. ;)
// @matigo
@keita From a user's perspective it's planned, I haven't a clue from a developer's. ;)
Incidentally I checked GitHub-to-GitLab issues & comments. During the initial clone everything migrates; but after the first clone, whilst the files update on a schedule, issues and comments do not.
// @matigo
@keita Hah! It's got to the stage now that I'm looking at stuff that doesn't use Ruby. 'Ubiquitous' is a word uppermost in my vocabulary' right now. Heck,rhe next step will be\* examining sources and trying to find solutions!
Ruby Gems; one terminal window: one gem installs after manually loading a dependent gem, the second gem fails because the dependent gem needs a later Ruby, despite the fact that I've already just installed one that works. 'Perverse' is a word uppermost in my vocab(head asplodes)
Everyone needs a hobby, right? ;)
// @matigo @jws
\*Yes, me.
List of things to do today:
(Or sometime)
- Try to not piss Jason off,
- Piss Jason off.
;)
Jason @matigo
> @jws you can also post in here with darn near full Markdown support. I'm sure you'll see when @bazbt3 gets a little verbose with his lists and whatnot :P
@hazardwarning Ah sorry, I got distracted by stuff. It's some text, 4 spaces, then [enter] to make the newline, then some more text.
