Exactly. He's the one who refuses to trust Microsoft and gets his Windows Updates, drivers, optimisers, etc. from his favourite Russian site.

Really. He needs a VPN to get it all, an all his stuff is cracked.

Speaking of optimisers, he gave my youngest daughter a cast-off laptop last year. It was too slow for his needs. There were 3 sets of optimisers; 2 of antimalware, 2 antivirus suites, and an always-on system monitor. No wonder it took nearly 10 minutes from boot before any page would open in Chrome!

(sighs)

I also turn away when someone enters their credentials; I just don't want to know.

A pet hate: my wife and girls have a tablet each; when one or other are out of charge, they use each others - so history isn't consistent (and is never cleared). I don't believe they share logins but they know my views.

It doesn't bode well for the future of identity and device security.

I could go on but it's the weekend, right?

Oops, I m and to reply to the first post earlier. I use the Sony app that came with the phone. It gas a companion online service - Sony only though.

I've used Google's previous photos apps though - not sure why I haven't this time around though!

I'm so glad you threw that in there. :) I habitually refer to it as a login or logging in, but found this just now:

A-aaand my father in law has finally screwed his partner's iPad email app up by changing some settings. She's not at all pleased.

He simply cannot resist, even when told not to mess with stuff he doesn't understand. Stuff that just works, has worked since she got the thing!

It's why he doesn't have access to our WiFi when he comes here.

Why do some people feel the need to…

:/

Do they have jelly inside?

This post should have been 'Stony Ground'. I'll edit the title when I'm near the big computer.

Hi Jason. One for the list: the admin screens (e.g. content > everything) are too wide for mobile Chrome - view, edit & delete are unavailable.

I'm still very, very impressed with the rest of this though. I should use it more. :)
