It was like a dark and stormy night and a particularly annoying, egregious, subtle, and at the same time painfully-obvious in its manifestation, problem with my code seemed intractable given the hour and the both practical, physical, procedural and metaphysical leaden headache with which I had been battling since the issue first manifested itself some days earlier; days during which a casual but necessarily interested, perhaps with a vested interest as a user of my work, but would I know unless they informed me - but only to a degree - observer could simply not imagine the mental turmoil I felt, a turmoil beyond imagining for those without even brief experience of the processes a coder or developer, even the average hacker, must journey, often in isolation, before even a base of understanding is reached. And so I thought, a process brought on by a lack of faith in the determination I'd shown thus far in the development of my burgeoning application:
